Now we’ve had a few days to get used to landing in the new twenties.

There’s lots to be done in this third decade of the 21st century. Big challinges and necessary choices for us who make champagne and for you who enjoy it.

But first we want to thank you for your interest in us.

Change is challenge

Change and challenge is busines as usual at our place in in Champagne.

Ever since we sold the first bottle 11 years ago, we have changed more or less everything. We will carry on.

Inspiration and ideas

Your questions, your interest and convictions can be sources of inspiration.

Sometimes you bring knowledge that we don’t have, and new ideas will develop from unexpected parallels.

These are all markers that help us find and follow certain tracks through the woods. Often, it’s not well lit as our work occasionally moves us into what is to us unknown or even unmapped areas.

Tourist at harvest

In 2019, a new chapter opened for us at Champagne Tange-Gérard.

We have always spent time to show what we do. Last year we welcomed some of you who came to spend half a harvest day with us. It was good fun, and we will certainly continue in 2020.

New champagne guide

Solliphere was presented on Valentine’s Day 2019.

It is the first plot champagne of Tange-Gérard and also the first extra-brut. It’s characterized by key words as “minimalistic”, “pure” and “intense” in the Guide Veron, online already and in print in the autumn.

Small yields more taste

We have made four cuvées since Solliphere.

They are amongst the best, when we taste the new wines with our local colleagues and the basis of our single champagnes.

Our yields have diminished due to our changed way of working but quality is growing. What could be more important than to make the most of the resources you have?

Champagne celebrates the exceptional

More than ever, champagne is a festive way to celebrate an exceptional moment. Or choose champagne to create exception. Bubbles work both ways.

If you decide to enjoy one bottle rather than two, make it a better one! We’re ready to provide a taste.
