singles line vinification
The exclusive Singles champagnes of Tange-Gerard are made with grapes from our micro region between Soulières in the Côte des Blancs area and Loisy-en-Brie at the Petit Morin valley in one specific year.
The first alcoholic fermentation takes place in shiny steel tanks. The early singles champagnes – the first is from 2013 - tasted their year as it expressed itself through the grapes and time spent in the caves.
In 2018, we decided to widen the exploration of our wines. We were quite thrilled to add oak casks as another element of our vinification methods with the objective to widen the aromas and tastes further.
